Length of chains for a LL

I have been using my Leesure Lite fo car camping because I just haven’t gotten around to riding with Covid. So that being said I am heading out to Calif to camp with the family and decided to take the bike. Just did checks on the lights and they all work. But the chains are way too long. How do ya’ll handle this?

I see only one solution.....shorten the chains....
You could put links on it so to be lengthened later for your car.

Also, make sure your tow chains have clips on the ends, or at least some quick links securely fastened so they don't come unhooked

I just wrap the chains around each other until I get them as short as I want them. Sort of like the youtube video but instead of twisting them by themselves I wrap them together. Works!
