  • NEED HELP...broken plastic pole support... need parts!!!

    I have a 94 kwik kamp motorcycle camper. when setting it up for rally this coming weekend i noticed that the support bracket holding the two poles that support the front dressing area up is cracked. quick fix was zip ties but really need to find the part to replace this. pictures in post. thanks guys...hoping to repair before wed when i leave.

    I'm a big believer in finding things that will work instead. I think this would work:

    You would need to find a square nut that and a thumbscrew, but I think that would make a pretty decent, easy to find, and cheap replacement part.

        Check with Marine suppliers. That looks like a component for a Bimini frame. Here is one from West Marine.

          If you can't buy, make? A piece of wood with a hole drill through, threaded insert and scroll/band/table saw out the notch on the other side.

              I'm pretty sure I was told by Dilligaf that all those fitting were Marine parts . He reworked a camper like yours!
