Whiskey Barrel Trailer

I built this last month.

Love it.

Pulls great, and has more style than my HF car-topper.

Re: Whiskey Barrel Trailer

That won't work here we have an open container law.

Nice job.

Re: Whiskey Barrel Trailer

What ya need is a sip tube going from trailer to rider. That would get them to thinking.

Now that's a good looking trailer!

Welcome from Western Kentucky, I don't live too far from where they fill those!

Re: Whiskey Barrel Trailer

I've been lurking on here for awhile. When I started looking for advise on pulling trailers, this place was full of good info.
I really enjoyed building this one. Once I had it complete, I got many questions of how much, how hard, and can you build me one. So I threw it up on ebay and craigslist for an over-inflated price. High enough that I wouldn't mind it if it sold. But I'm glad it didn't, cause then I'd have to wait to get another barrel, and spend riding time in the garage.
It's heavy, but not too bad. Less than 200 lbs loaded. Tongue weight is light, and it's no problem riding 2-up. I pulled it 400 miles last weekend, 80 mph at times.

I did get tired of people asking if there was really booze in there. So I just started answering by saying "I like turtles". Then they go away thinking I'm plowed.
I'll be pulling it to Gettysburg next week.
