    French Creek Campground

Just made reservations for French Creek CG in Elverson, PA. Will post a report after our return. Looks like a nice CG..lots of trails for hiking.

French Creek is a great park. the PA state parks have GREAT campgrounds... clean facilities.

FC also has a really difficult Frisbee Golf course. Some VERY long holes, and woods galore.

the swimming pool is a nice bonus. Gets a little packed, but a nice pool.

I ride up that neck of the woods all the time... Great riding around those parts.

We just left there this morning. The campsites are good and the toilet/shower buildings are very nice with lots of tile.

    Re: French Creek Campground

We camped at French Creek CG for two nights and did enjoy the CG. There are four loops for camping, some with electric and water..and others with just access to water. Each loop has its own restroom/shower. However with the number of campsite per loop, they could have use a couple more toilets. On the second day, my wife indicated that one of the two toilets in the ladies room was not working and there was a long line in the morning (she was not a happy camper that morning ) !

Lots of great hiking trails..very agressive biting files...carry bug spray!
We had our pooch with us and only Loop "C" allows pets.

I got to meet Lemonade briefly...just long enough to say hi...

CG is $25.00 per night...reservations can be made online.
