Itís above Alberta, but the site administrators didnít offer the option of the Northwest Territory. Hay River Territorial Campground is on the southern beach of Great Slave Lake, in the town of Hay River NWT.

Itís a quiet campground and the whole place is very well maintained; very clean. It was the nicest place we stayed on our trip to and from Yellowknife. The sites are large and the showers hot. And the rates are reaasonable since itís a governmental cg.

I would recommend the restaurant above the pharmacy for and excellent steak dinner and drinks. I have forgotten the name but the locals will all know.
Breakfast was at the Driftwood Diner.

Gas is about 25 miles away (in Enterprise) on the main hiway.
