I concur great report! Like Gary we went west to Yellowstone then had to go back for Glacier, now we've got to go back and go north. I have to admit after going to the Northwoods campout exploring Michigan some more is high on our list also.

Mark and Jamie, thank you so much for the excellent trip report and beautiful pictures! We have covered a lot of the same ground, and I have to agree with you 100% when it comes to describing just how beautiful it really is. Even with pictures, it really doesn't due it justice! Like you all, I really liked the KOA at Hinton, it was windy when I was there too, but it's a great place to base camp for a few days.

Again, thank you for the excellent trip report and photos, I know of one person who is already making plans for this trip next year after seeing this report.

Great TR and photos, you two!

Having ridden through every mountain range in the lower US, there is no way to describe the Canadian Rockies that would do it justice in any way.

Banff used to be a Day Trip from where I used to live in BC and the Rockie's grandeur constantly amazed me.

Thanks for the trip report, Mark!

Yep, and maybe Bud would like to join me for a trial trip. For the trip to Alaska in 2015.

Thanks for the great replies. We enjoy being able to share our favorite playground with folks. One could do this ride every year and never get tired of it. Kinda hard to balance the riding and camping in a short time when there is so many places to stop and smell the roses.

Really appreciate your detailed trip report and photo posting...having been to only portions of the areas covered in your trip, this report only makes me eager for another trip covering some of the areas highlighted here. Thanks.

Thanks Festus/Mark for the great trip report!!! The photos are fantastic!! I really enjoyed the pics of the Canadian Rockies!! Never been there before so, your photographs are the next best thing!

I know it has been some time since you did this trip and put together the write up but, I am just getting around to reading some of the older trip reports. It's cold outside and what better way to enjoy my time cooped up inside than reading motorcycle travel stories.

Again, thanks for the report. I know it takes a fair amount of effort to put it all together. I do appreciate it!
