I like this link for AZ STate parks because it shows a map of them right away...

    http://www.pr.state.az.us/Parks/parkmap.html

The AZ STate park site take a couple of clicks to get to this map and links to each park...

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service also has campsites at many of their refuges. Here's the link to their site:

    http://www.fws.gov/

You can search by region, then state. A bit of work, but you can find them.

Here is a link to the county parks in Iowa. some are $7 a night for minimal services- pit toilets no shower, up to $18 for full hookups, but all are clean. When camping here in my home state I prefer the county parks because of the price and are usually not as busy & more secluded campsites.

Here's a link to find and reserve a spot at the Corps Of Engineer and USDA Forest Service parks. They are all over the place and are fantastic places to camp.

    http://www.recreation.gov/recgovHome...pTabIndex=Home

If you are a holder of the Golden Access Pass (62 or older) or the Access Pass (disabled) you get 50% off to camp at all Federal areas such as National Parks, COE, USDA, BLM's, Fish and Wildlife and Bureau of Reclamation. If you don't know what the Access passes are here is a link that will tell you about it and how to get one. They are free for folks with disabilities and $10.00 for 62 or older and they are good for life. If you don't qualify for those you can also buy the Annual Pass for $80.00 By the way the site also has links to all the above parks. Anyway, here it is:

    http://store.usgs.gov/pass/index.html

Oh I also want to share the link for military campgrounds and rv sites. Naturally you will need to qualify to use them but if you do many of them are great places to stay.
