    1500 Goldwing Tank Bag

I used the Firecreek Rack but couldn't find the matching bag... so I improvised.

If I ever find the Firecreek bag, I will certainly go for it. In the mean time, I am going to enjoy this bag.

    What bag is that Larry?

It fits on there not bad, but is a fair bit smaller than the FireCreek bag.

    Not really.
Unlike the OEM radio cover, you can easily access the on/off/volume/tone switches under the bag because of the way the SS mounting plate is made with cut-outs and how the plate suspends the bag above the radio.
If you need to access any of the other controls , you tilt the rear of the bag forward, as the mounting plate is hinged, same when you need to refuel. It's a well thought out/executed piece of equipment

    I'd never be without it!

It's a real shame that they are no longer made/available.

I am not sure of the brand, I found it at a swap meet in Kalispell, Montana as I passed through there on my way home from Glacier. I had been looking for a tang bag shaped so that it would work with the rack.

I bought the rack from a guy in Yakima. He had a full setup and an extra rack....

It is smaller, but it holds my camera, sun glasses, cell phone, sun screen, Starbucks instant coffee packets and just about anything else I need in a quick hurry on the bike. Very handy indeed. Probably the most used piece of equipment I have on the bike besides the bike controls themselves.

The closeup below shows the volume knob can be accessed without even moving the bag at all...

These are hard items to find. I found mine after a long search and I only found the metal rack. I adapted a different bag onto it. I sold mine to Tigger, from the Goldwingfacts.com forum.
