    Lovell Camper Park, Lovell Wy

This is a city owned and operated campground located in Lovell, Wyoming.
I camped here in September of 2012.
I would not consider it a destination campground but it does make a good overnight stop. It has level sites, tables, grills, water and very clean restrooms and showers.
It's a short walk to Main Street although there is not much there.
Very few restaurants and what is there close very early. There is a nice supermarket just a few blocks away.

The campground is located on Quebec, Ave about 2 blocks off of Hwy14 on the east side of downtown.

Almost forget to mention the price is, FREE

Thumbs up New one to add to my 'List'!

Thanks for that one Don, as I never knew this one existed. I have been through Lovell many times and had no clue about this little campground. I usually stay at Newton Creek, west of Cody, or Sibley Lake, east of Burgess Junction.

I've stayed at the Lovell Camper Park a few times. I'll stop here on my way to Yellowstone from Sturgis. A quiet campground that's free! Restrooms and showers are located in a brick building. All surprisingly very clean. A perfect stop after a long day on the road for someone looking for a safe, quick place to camp.

Dont they know they could make a lot of money by charging twice as much as they do now?
Seems like a great place, thanks for sharing.

Stayed at this nice little free city campground recently.
They recently built a new shower house/restroom. Quiet and has some nice shade trees
    Can't beat the price!
