This is a fairly quiet, rustic campground situated along the shore of the Columbia River (also know as Arrow Lakes Reservoir) and roughly 7 miles south of the small town of Nakusp.
It has picnic tables and a fire ring at each site. Potable water and pit toilets are scattered throughout the campground. No electric, showers, or WiFi. Firewood available for a fee from the Camp Host.
Our campsite had a short trail that lead to the 'beach' along the lakeshore.
Fuel, supplies, restaurants and a soak in some Hot Springs are available in Nakusp.
Access to this part of the West Kootenays is by free BC Ferries from the north and west, or by traveling north on Hwy 6, from the Castlegar/Nelson area
You can also grab another BC Ferries from Crawford Bay, across Kootenay Lake (longest free ferry ride in Canada) to Balfour, north on 31 to Kaslo and then over to Nakusp (great road!)
Lots to see/do in the area with fantastic riding roads and scenery!

    Watch out for deer/elk/bear etc.
