    Interesting, Keith!

What kind of material is it made from, approx weight and packed size?

Shade was a very much needed thing and I alway's bring some along only this time I brought along something a little different.

Best part is that it provides shade yet allow the breeze to still pass through.

Well ... Now we know where everyone in the campground congregate ... The smart ones anyway ...

I've done so much with so little for so long ... Now I can do nearly anything with almost nothing.

The material is nylon on net. It seems to be tied in hundreds of places to the netting. Has a double ring on each corner. It actually came up in conversation as to how it was all done. By hand or machine. If I recall the tag (thrown away) said it was all laser cut. Seems very well made. I actually rode down there today to buy 1 maybe 2 more but as usual they were all out of them. I'll have to keep checking back. It stuffs into a 4'' X 9" stuff sack. The weight? all I can say is its very light.

    Here it is blown up.

    Nice!

Thanks for the lead on Sportsman's Guide, George.

Could work well for 'Stealth Camping' during good weather, as well.

I really like Keith's set up. I was there in the 'heat of the day' (it was under 80) and it really worked well....

I think I need a bigger camping bag...

    Thumbs up Re: Kelty tarps

I purchased a 16 Kelty Tarp this past winter and just set it up this weekend. (Still weekend!)
I am very impressed so far.

The deepest spot in Lake Superior, The largest of the Great Lakes is 1,333 feet or about 222 fathoms. This profound depth could easily contain the entire 1,250' Empire State Building, even with a 50-foot-tall King Kong perched atop.
