The Morrison Rockwood State Park is a well manicured campground. Not especially different, but nice. For this part of Illinois, it is very wooded and surrounded by perfectly manicured paved and dirt roads - I have a cruiser and we road the dirt by choice. No problems at all.

The location puts you a short ride from crossing the river to Clinton IA and riding a loop north to Savannah IL. Going south, a short loop puts you to LeClair Ia to check out American Pickers.

The fishing is good and some guys get big Northern. We only had basic gear so went for a few bass.

In the morning, we went straight south to Lyndon, IL to walk the 600Ft 1894 bridge. A solid park and a great weekend for us.
