I just bought a 5 lb tank and looking at your carrier. Would like to have one such as yours. I know you built yours. Did you scrap the first edition? lol

Been using one for years. Was originally on GF's boat. Sure beats lugging several one pounders. With a "Christmas tree" can use lamp, stove and one other apparatus at the same time. Toss mine in cargo bay of pop up.

We use an 11 lb bottle packed in the cargo bay of the Aspen. http://www.menards.com/main/heating-...998-c-6878.htm

I went with the 11 pounder so we could get two three day weekend trips without having to get it filled. It will last for that time running the buddy heater camp stove and light.
