    wildwood c/g hulbert ok

    good c/g on ft. gibson lake. gettin there on hiway 80 is a great ride, but its only 6 miles from hulbert. everything here is clean, good showers and sites on the lake. its a corps of engineers c/g so its maintained really well. when leaving take a right outta the c/g to enjoy more of hiway 80. oh yeah check out is 5:00 p.m. camped here june 2010

    This is a pretty part of Ok. Probably not what most think of when they think of Oklahoma, it has a few hills and some curvy roads around there, NOT what you see in "Grapes of Wrath". While here, ride into the town of Ft. Gibson and take a look around the old frontier fort there. Just turn Rt. out of the campground on OK80 and you'll ride right in to town. Continue on past Ft. Gibson and ride into Muskogee Ok to the Port of Muskogee and you'll find the USS Batfish, a WW2 submarine turned museum. It sets right on the Arkansas River Navigation System, from here you could take a boat to New Orleans and the gulf.

    didn't get to see enough of the area. i understand its really nice down round heavener- cedar lake
