I've read some reviews of that grill and they discourage me from getting one. Several said it was flimsy others said it was "too heavy" which I doubt could be the case...but how sturdy is it. Could you put it over one of the coleman dual fuel stoves....and put a pot on it?

I have only put food on it to grill, but I feel as though it would be sturdy enough to hold a sensible pot (ie not cast iron) As for being heavy, I was surprised at the weight, it was more than expected, but this adds to the strength. because of the compact size when taken down, I feel that its weight is not an issue.

As for being flimsy, when put together correctly and tightened down it is as strong as need be. I also use it as an endtable when not grilling
