So yesterday and today I'm working on the Wing. My front tire needs replacing after about 18K miles of use and when removing the rim from the bike, I discovered a left fork leak. so naturally I need to determine what the issue is and do a through cleaning. Have the front end torn down, left fork out and all cleaned. Taking the rim for a new tire shortly and then putting the bike back together! Fun times!!

Maybe just a twitch of cabin fever is starting to set in now. Not so much because of the virus (ranting about the stupid and random closure rules in PA gets me nowhere), but more because of the weather here.
We're running about 10 degrees below normal, and it seems like the blood payment for every good day or two is extracted by a week of cold, wet, clammy weather that follows. Grrrr.

Knowing that I couldn't take any trips because nothing was open anyway was tolerable. Watcha gonna do? Right?
At least I could enjoy riding around aimlessly or getting my tents waterproofed, etc., in the nicer, warmer spring weather....
    ...Which has been rare.

At least I can work on my patience.
I don't need a compass to know which way the wind shines.

I'm currently changing my rear tire, repacking the rear wheel bearings and replacing the rear brake pads. Having a No-Mar manual tire machine allows me to work on my schedule, not a dealers. Also makes a nice platform for cleaning wheels, and repacking or changing wheel bearings.

I'm polishing aluminum on my 77 cb550f. I was just going to clean it up a bit, and now I keep taking stuff off to polish. Engine covers are next after I put the front end back together. It's a great way to use up a bunch of hours at low cost.

Next week is clean out the garage so I can get the LL out and start working on getting it ready for summer. Since 99.9% of my summer activities have been cancelled I am going to get in some long weekend camping trips even if only to a local park. It has been 2 years since I did any camping so this summer will be the one.

Completely rebuilt my home office desk space to utilize 2 monitors, printer and laptop.
Looks like I may be working from home until the end of the year.
