Aspen Will No Longer Manufacture Trailers

The following message was posted on the Aspen Quality Campers Facebook page.

As of January 1, 2020 Aspen will no longer be manufacturing any trailers. Poor sales volume and high licensing fees in Illinois forces us to make this choice.
However, will still will carry all supporting parts for the Classic and Sentry models. The Ambassador is no longer supported.
Our phone is not manned, so please email us at aspenqualitytrailers@gmail.com with inquiries.
We thank you all for past business.

I don't think you'll ever see a motorcycle camper manufacturer 'make it' until and unless the motorcycle industry embraces the concept. As it is the biggest manufacturer in the us of motorcycles still says it'll void your warranty if you pull a camper or trailer. We are a niche bunch..and the tail don't wag the dog.

I think Harley leaves it up to the dealer, if they'll look the other way then Harley will cover any problems.

True, but the rank and file HD owner that might be interested in towing a trailer is going to immediately see that HD will void your warranty if you put a hitch on and drop it. It's certainly not 'embraced' by any of the big bike manufacturers.

Cam-Am Spyder will be glad to sell owners the hitch, wiring and trailer. No problems with warranty.

Not to split hairs, but Spyders aren't motorcycles. They are motorsports true, but NOT motorcycles. That's like equating jet-ski's to people on actual water skis.. they end up in the same places and a lot of the same people do both, but they are NOT skiing. There's a lot less danger and financial culpability pulling a trailer behind a 3 wheel vehicle than there is behind a 2-wheeler.
