Man, if I hadn't made an agreement on the TO over the past few days I would be totally on that. I do like the fact that TO is a known company, and still in business though. Need a new tent? Sure, come get it!

That's a good buy if it is in decent shape.

I'm 65 miles away, no snow on the ground.

I have the very first version of the Kamperoo. It was direct shipped from Australia. Price if I remember new was around $850 plus $150 shipping. But that was in 1986! Still got , still rollin. Itll make Sturgis again this year. Im in Central Texas and love my Roo!

    Re: Kamparoo Motorcyle Camper

I have a 1988 and like it. They are only 46" wide and ae narrower than the Leisure Lite and Rollahome brands that are available today. Great size for a single person or a small sized couple. 6' bed length. I'm 5'10" so it works for me.
I couldn't find replacement wheel seals anywhere here in the states 2 years ago when I got it as they were leaking badly. The wheels and the hubs are intrigual, one piece. I was getting it ready to ride from NH to San Diego. So after searching for seals and bearings and not finding anything matching the numbers I started thinking well maybe my HF Tag-along axle would fit but it was a bit wider, got looking closer and found the frame was close to the same width on each and married the Roo to the Tag-along frame, removed the Roo axle and springs, extended the HF frame for a tongue box for added storage and made some angle iron brackets to bolt the Roo on. I also added modern swingdown jackstand on the tongue and screw cam type on the rear as I had one of the rear post stabilizers drop loose and drag for a bit and bent it on a test run. I must not have tightened the knob tight enough. The jacks make it easier to level it too.
    It tows well.
I think I'll have a travel cover made like the one in the ad above has.
I didn't know there were more of these here in the states. Mine was the first I have seen in all my travels around the country.

    BTW
I have 3 original KampaRoo wheels available if someone needs them.

    Re: Kamparoo Motorcyle Camper

Thanks for the info Stu. I went and checked out the time out today as planned but didn't come home with it (yet). The guy never titled it in his name, but he filled out the title as the buyer so I literally can't do anything with it until it's titled in his name. I told him what needed to be done and we'll see if they reach out sometime soon. I contacted this guy with the kamperoo and set up a time to check it out on Friday. We'll see how it goes, but I'm mildly concerned about the short sleeping area. I'm 6'3" and 285, I needs my room.

The time out was in a touch rougher condition, and it was the non deluxe model, while the ad said deluxe. Nothing some elbow grease and vinegar can't fix though.

I've concidered adding a hinged bed extension like Leisure Lite uses.
