I was on the mainland for the first bit of August... did I miss a lot of rain?

It only rained the first day we were on the island, but it remained overcast for the entire week.

We get a lot of cloud cover... but when the sun shines it can be spectacular. My first camping trip of last summer (before I got the Mini Mate) had a first sunny day and then 3 days of RDF, Rain, Drizzle, Fog - it is a common weather forecast.
