Re: OK Some Pictures of the Cabin

Newday I will be around Independence Mo. most likely.
Call me 816-260-4531 or text me I will buy lunch.

Bought counter top, and ordered island top.
My son helped me put in attic ladder. Friday he took a sick day.
I told him he can use the Cabin, one day in 2019, for each day he
helped build it, this year. So he has 1 day credit. lol So far

He has two kids in sports, every weekend, so he is busy lol

Here is the bank 10 miles from the cabin. I think Dusty might have a account there. LOL

here is the backsplash I started Sat.

Got the countertop, Island top comes in a week. Plan to put the silver backsplash on bottom of island too.

I was moving a 8ft ladder with a big DeWalt screw gun on top. Gun fell off hit back of my hand. The hand swelled
up with a golf ball size lump on the back or my hand. Worked one handed the rest of Saturday, looks better today. lol

Re: OK Some Pictures of the Cabin

OK the County Assessor found me Tuesday.

I had my other cabin 20 years and paid $80 a year for 15 acres and a cabin. lol

They never found the cabin. in the woods not visible from the road.
One thing did happen, 2nd day of Deer Season. I was there with my sons putting in
some insulation. Saw the door open, and in walked two Conservation Agents. Walked right in.
They said we did not know there was a cabin on this place. Asked our names and we gave them.
Someone said they had already ran our car tags and knew who should be there. Maybe
Looked around inside and said we are going. Never made me, or my sons show ID.
Followed them out and they had driven Jeep all the way down my path, were parked behind my truck.
My son had parked near the road 500 feet from my cabin. I bet they thought he was hunting.

I told others this story, some say they can't just walk into, your cabin, some say they can.
I thought what if my wife were standing there changing her clothes?????
If I were a bad guy, I saw the door open, so I knew someone was coming in the door.

What do you think is legal?

Don't know about your state laws, but often Game Wardens or Conservation Officers may have more power than Police Officers when it comes to warrantless searches of people, vehicles, and domiciles.

Groundhog would probably be able to shed a lot more light on this for you. The cabin looks like it coming along nicely!

What was their probable cause? Did you ask? Were they able to articulate it?
Each state has different rules. You would need to research this.
