Lost Creek CG, Crater Lake National Park

I thought I had posted a review of this great little campground before, but ......

This is a delightful, small and very quiet rustic campground located a couple of miles down from the East Rim of Crater Lake, along The Pinnacles Rd.
It is for tent campers only, but I see no reason why you couldn't camp there with a pull behind motorcycle camper.
Like I said, it's small with only 16 campsites. If you want a site here, best to arrive early (by noon!) as they are all 1st come, 1st served.
All the sites have a fire ring, picnic table and a food locker.
No water/showers/electric/WiFi. There is one central washroom that if I recall correctly has flush toilets and 1, or 2 electrical outlets where you could charge your cell, or small laptop.
There is a small grocery store that sells some camping supplies/groceries/fire wood and fuel by the larger RV based campground called Mazama Village.
Due to it's elevation (6,000'+) and location, it is only open about 3 - 3 1/2 months out of the year

I would most definitely stay here again!

Thanks Dusty!!! Nice write up on Lost Creek CG and I really enjoyed seeing the photos of Crater Lake!! I was in that area back in 2000 but, was running short on time and had to by-pass Crater Lake. I really regret that decision now as I was only about a 100 miles from the lake.

Crater Lake was the most spectacular site we saw on our trip out west!
