Weird weather we're having ... Woke up to 10* temps here this morning ... Just Wednesday, it was record setter of nearly 60*

I've done so much with so little for so long ... Now I can do nearly anything with almost nothing.

Definitely know the feeling. Jan 1st, the day we left MO it was -5 making our decision much easier. This is our first time playing the snowbird card. (not to rub it) but we're down here in Florida spending a couple months. Chilly this morning but I can live with that, as it's 11 back home.
Only regret, leaving the bike back home.

Cabin fever is not too bad in St. Lou, but my bike is still on the road... as long as there is no frozen preciptation falling. I'll keep riding for my daily commute, little crazy, but not stupid. The p'up on the other hand.. it's staying in the garage until the spring thaw.

I have thought of the snow bird thing for some time.
I wanted to go to Panama, and stay a few months.
I am afraid I have put it off to many years, now.
    I may never go.

I studied and think I Panama, is a nice country to spend some time.
Boquette Panama is around 75* day 66* night 365 days a year.
45 min. from David, the third biggest city. It is in western Panama.
3 to 5 thousand US and Canadians are making it their home, in this
city, some times referred to as Gringo Iand. You can rent a condo,
or home for $800, $1000, with everything in one price.

Thumbs up Re: Cabin Fever in Mo.

It's cold here in Pittsburgh. High of 50 degrees earlier this week.
Now it's down to the teens with rain turned to snow last night. More to come in the
next few days. This too will pass.
We are bidding our time and planning a move to Las Vegas ASAP.
Have to wait for medical issues to pass then we pack, pack pack...
Don't know how I will get the Spyder to Vegas. Wife doesn't want me to sell
the trike. Got to LOVE her.
    Cheers,

Stationed in Panama back in 79-81. Thoroughly enjoyed my time there and would love to go back for a visit but don't think I'd consider an extended stay.
My first year there it was the Canal Zone until Carter gave it away. You wouldn't believe the animosity felt towards that man back then.

We also had a great MC club on Albrook AFB with both military and civilian members. Did numerous trips through Panama as well up into Costa Rica.

Wish I had access to my files back home. Got some great old photos I could share from that time.
