    Cotton Jacket Water Repellent Treatment

Any recommendations for a product to make a cotton jacket water repellent? I've searched Amazon and none of the products have exciting reviews.

No clue how this will work on cotton but says safe for all fabrics.

Check out "303 Fabric Guard". I had good luck with it on the motor home awnings. (Got it on Amazon)

Was it originally a waxed cotton jacket?

    Jacket has never been treated.

According to the comments the "303 Fabric Guard" only last 2 to 3 rain falls.

The Starbrite comments on amazon says doesn't work or 30-days max.

I admit I am reviewing the most negative reviews. I've found this is often where the rubber hits the road.

Ive used this Starbrite product for years on my boat Sunbrella material. Bimini, teaks covers etc.
These are out in the weather for 9 months without needing reapplication. I’ve even used it on my
Mini Mate. Caution: It does have an odor to it. It diminishes over time.

It may depend on the fabric or how it is applied. Odor is not good in a jacket.

    Google waxing cotton jacket.
Cheap and fairly easy to do/reapply whenever needed.
No matter what treatment you use, you will need to reapply after time

I may try that process in the video.
