Got the cabin roughed in completed Wed. Nov. 15th

Its in Warsaw Mo. in the middle of Mo.

It is 40 X 16 with a loft in the rear.
I had them make it 10 ft. sides and put 5 2x2 windows on each side up high.
they let in a lot of light.

I have a lot of work to do inside now. I have to finish it.

Bought wire, light switch boxes, and breaker box on Sat.
Hope the money don't run out. LOL Trying to finish it.

Its near Truman Lake about 5 miles away,

Your invited to Mo. just bring a hammer. LOL

    Nice job, Mike.
Not too far from home so easy access for later years in life!

Yes Dusty got 200 amp service.
    Water, and septic tank in.

Think split air unit, for heat and air,

    propane on demand hot water.

Its on two lots. It came out great.

I have to finish the inside now. Lots to do...

Curious ... How come you had that building build with NO eve overhang? ... Don't look like there's even room for eves troughs, if you had a mind to install 'em ...

I've done so much with so little for so long ... Now I can do nearly anything with almost nothing.

Well this was built off site and delivered so height and width was a factor.
    40 x 16 with 15ft. tall.

This is not how you would build it in Mich. I am sure.

Maybe you could hold a 2-3 day camping event there and the cost of admission would be every camper bring a hammer...would be a fun event. I'm sure there are a lot of talented carpenters floating around the campgrounds...So, you now have to do all the wiring, plumbing, insulating and partitioning for rooms?

I hope to have most done by the time its warm enough to camp again in MO.

Its already insulated with foam, top to bottom.
Just one bedroom and bath to make under the loft already installed.

So yes plumbing, wiring and walls covered, then floor.
Deck built on the side 16X20 I think.

So I went there over the weekend and put in breaker box, and sat there feeling overwhelmed a little.
looking at all that has to be done.
I hope I am up to it. Not 50 anymore. LOL LOL I have some help. I will need it.

Thanks for the good words. I will keep you posted.

    Buttset from Mo.

I built a cabin I posted pictures of back a while, ground up. Took 18 months weekends and vacations.
Two boys in college, and not much money, so I scrounged for every thing I needed.
