Definitely an updated look and a few of requested features have been included. Think it’s a hit on the GL boards, but I think I’ll give it a year or two before I put down my $28k. B.

Harley and Yamaha just had big remakes to. They say motorcycle sales are way down, I guess everybody is trying to renew interest in new bikes...

Haven't read all the specific details of this new machine yet, but I did noticed that it has 25% less luggage capacity than the model it is replacing. Looks like they might have traded luggage capacity for weight savings and handling.

That DCT looks pretty good.. especially for the market they are aiming at. That and all the updated electronics.. hell it even syncs and runs android auto for pete's sake! The fact that it has that 7 speed auto or 6 speed manual button tranny is gonna make a lot of people happy. Kind of end of an era though for me.. sorta like auto trans in cars.. manual trannies are a lost art for most people.

Now how about the ability to pull a trailer. Lighter bike means they have had to change something. Is the frame going to be enough to pull a camper?
Is the DCT going to be forever shifting? The 6th gear may constitute using 5th for trailer hauling.
Guess we have to wait and see what happens. And how long ti's going to take for aftermarket companies to design a GOOD hitch system.

Yes the new wing looks good. I like the weight loss and power increase along with the tech updates. I don't like the reduced cargo capacity, I like to bring everything including a kitchen sink.....

With a load capacity of 425 pounds, the larger people that travel with a passenger and gear better be careful.

The load capacity of all models of the Wings have been low. I have been riding them since my first new 1987 Interstate model. As I recall some only had a 360 pound limit. I know I have overloaded them in the past when I traveled alone taking off for a 4-6 week trip. After I met my bride in 1992 we split the load, She rides her own Wing
I have always wondered if it was the engineers or the lawyers who set the weight limits.
