One hip replaced, one to go!

So far so good, had the left hip replaced yesterday morning and things are a bit stiff and a little painful. On the positive side I've been up walking a couple of times already with a walker and staff with the me.

They are serious about me not moving unless they are here near me! I found out my bed and recliner have pressure alarms on them! I lifted myself up to re-position in the recliner and got my ears assaulted by a rude rendition of "Mary had a little lamb!"

I'm sure hoping to be able to do more riding and camping this upcoming season! The last time I took a ride it was about all I could do to get the kickstand down by myself.

You were in my thoughts this morning bud. Glad to know all went well. Maybe we can ride a few miles together this coming season.

I have been told that a hip replacement is a quicker recovery than knee replacement. I've had both knees replaced and now my right hip is giving me problems...mainly waking me in the night with pain. I may have to get it checked out. Getting old sucks but its better than the alternative!
