Congrats on the new camper and welcome to the forum.
Can't comment on FL campgrounds, but my favorite item hands down is a JetBoil. Wouldn't leave home without it.

If you don't mind a full campground, Manatee Springs State Park is really nice. If you prefer more solitude (like me), Silver River S.P. is very nice. And if you want to squeeze your nickels, Hog Island S.P. is less than half the price of the above two.

For coffee, I use an Etekcity stove and a Stanley pot that holds two cups in storage. You can find the stove on Amazon, and it's a cheap Chinese item, but it worked for the two years I was on the road. The Stanley pot holds almost a quart and is available at Walmart for short money, and it holds two nesting coffee cups. A Jet Boil is nicer, but it will cost you five times as much. I still have both and I plan to use them when I go to Buellvemberfest in a few weeks.

Here's a link to a campground locator that Dusty Boots gave me. It's a great source for finding campgrounds all over the US and Canada. It helped me find places to camp from Florida to Jasper National Park in Alberta:
