    Transmoto bimmer sidecar

I bought a new sidecar. got it from Bob wark in Ohio. Transmoto in Canada put it together and crated it directly to me in 9 days. The body is an Inder, the frame is Canadian. Wheel and shock? When it arrived i dissambled the loosely assembled kit and went at it with saws and welders. The frame is the only size they make and so wide as to carry their widest car. Built low to the pavement too. I chopped 4in of width out of the middle of the frame. Got it down to 46 in track, removed 4 3/8in vertical from the bottom of the shock tower to get about 10in of dirt road clearance. Built a heavy duty subframe out of 1 1/4 thick walled steel tube. Did the assembly and adjustments. This is a look at it as ready for testing. I have been driving with a fully loaded sidecar. Trailer hitch and lighting to follow. Ron, I will copy your 3/4in markers but wait until you see the turn signal.

Cool rig. I envy the horse power and comfort. I have been riding since the 60s. Bmws since 84. I do my own work. I looked for a complete rig but I have a good muel for my environment so the smallest car modified even smaller happened. I too am learning to drive what I was riding. I read the book. I operate equipment in the woods and it is common to operate or drive unfamiliar things. Let's see how well I handle this.

I’m curious about these Sidecar’s...is it true they are harder to steer? Can they be applied to a GW 1800?
