Exceptional just because they are what they are....
Eddie's Grill in Geneva on the Lake, Ohio. http://eddiesgrill.com
Nuthin' fancy, just an iconic dog-burger-fish-fries joint that's pretty much unchanged from the 50's. Only open during the tourist season, though.
Coolidge General Store in Custer State Park, SD.
In the summer they have an outdoor grill with the best buffalo burgers ever. All served on a paper plate.
You can tell I'm a dog-burger-fish-fries-nuthin'-fancy type of guy.
Both biker friendly, of course.
I don't need a compass to know which way the wind shines.
We were camping just outside of Wilmington, VT in Molly Stark State Park last year and came across Dot's Restaurant. We ate breakfast there each morning! Great food!! Some good history about Dot's on their website!
