well duhhh how did i not put that together lol. I thought it was maybe kwik camp but that seems way off from what you put. I'm unfamiliar with Shur Kamp, I'm interested to see what others say.

I don't believe the Shur Kamps are made anymore, so replacement parts would be an issue. I had a Combi Camp for a couple of years, they too are very similar to the Lees-ure-lite, but much heavier.

I have been doing a little research since I posted.I think you are correct . I have seen a few used for sale. They look very similar in size and shape.I would like to attempt to build one myself out of aluminum. The body is not a problem, but the tenting . I would have to have made. I am not sure where to go for that, but do have some ideas. The price of the leesure lite is stif, but considering what componates cost and not doing it for free, the price is justified. I was in your area a few days ago. Wife and I made a trip to iron pony. May go back today

I've seen some replacement canvas(generic term) sites mentioned on this site, or possibly on GL1800 riders. If memory serves me correctly, it was in the $750-$800 range.

Shur Kamp is similar to the later designed Leesurelite. It's heavier and slightly smaller internally than the Lesurelite. LL is still in production.. Shur Kamp hasn't been made in years and years. I would imagine it's difficult to get stuff for the Kamp nowadays....

Here's one idea, but it's expensive. I'm sure this has been posted in the past.

This won't work for a Shur Kamp or LL type camper as they have a flip down hardtop that becomes the lower floor. Totally different designs than the Aspen which is tent on top of the box.
