Hi fill , that was a typo .., the work was meant to read assurance not insurance

I was referring to the carnet de passage that is recognised internationally.

Cheers thx for this I check them out
at a first glance though .., these trailers do look too wide though to tow behind a bike for my purpose.
If they can be modified and drastically narrowed they might be OK though. The bushtec spartan is very narrow compared to these trailers, and is as wide as the bikes handlebars, plus the suspension is more stable than these trailers as there are sway bars and air adjustable shocks on the bushtec , plus its almost half the weight (80KG) and has a better hitching system (ie; 360 degree helm joint) so if I drop the bike I do not damage the trailer hitch etc

In your post, you mentioned that you wanted to carry four surfboards. I mentioned the SportsRig MicroTrailer since they had a picture on their website showing the trailer hauling six surfboards. I'm not sure why you think the Bushtec Spartan is half the weight. According to the information on the website, the SportsRigs is 75 kg, which happens to be lighter than the Spartan. You would need to install a swivel hitch on the SportsRig (an extra cost) to get the same functionality as the heim joint on the Spartan.

A great source for world motorcycle travelers is https://horizonsunlimited.com/hubb . Try your questions on their forum. There are more dual sport bikes than big touring bikes but welcome everyone.
