We were returning from a trip to Cambridge VT and decided to not do a long haul home since we had an extra day. Pulled into OQUAGA CREEK STATE PARK, NY for a night of camping. We were happy to find this CG, very well laid out and had 3 camping loops to choose from. Because it was a Sunday afternoon, most of the other campers had departed. We were on Beaver Creek loop site 92...a huge open field with no trees, no electric or water. But close to the shower facility. There were little, if no lights in the CG so it was quite dark..so dark that we could actually see the Milky Way, a shooting star and the ISS fly overhead!! Very Cool!!!
