Yea, Kind of hard to get any fun stuff done when either one shows up. Had Frost up here this morning (28 degrees) and I see they're calling for it again tonight. Already calling for RAIN again next weekend...

All makes of motorcycles are welcome and no need of club affiliation is needed to attend a BMW event. This will be year #6 for the Goldwing. This years group is 2 Wings, a 14 Kawi Concourse, Cam-am, and a Triumph. One thing about the BMW group is that they like to camp. Always a GREAT time.

    Re: Memorial day weekend.

I spent decades traveling by air and car on business, and always seemed to be fighting huge crowds and traffic trying to get home on holidays, so that's ended. For good.

I will be at home enjoying the large flat screen TV, my Stereo (love music), catching up on reading in my patio with my dog and some good food and drink - totally avoiding the crowds and the roads.

The following Wednesday I may head out for a camp.

    Have fun gents.

Took a nice scenic ride to the airshow on Saturday. Unfortunately, the weather at the air show could have been better

    Re: Memorial day weekend.

I left friday morning from north Texas and rode to Sam Rayburn Reservoir to meet and camp with some friends. Took about 5 hours to get there. I pulled my new to me Roll a Home, fully loaded basement and 3 bags strapped on top, maiden tow. Storms rolled in early Sunday morning with heavy thunderstoms forecast for later in the day. So I packed up rode about an hour and a half to Nacogdoches to hold over at a friends. I'm glad I did because the storms that rolled through were pretty nasty. But packed from there this morning and made it home about 1 pm today. Overall a great ride and nice camping in the new tent camper.
