    Lithia Springs

Lithia Springs Corps of Engineers camp ground east of Shelbyville is a great camp ground. All sites have electricity but with the national parks senior pass it is $9 a night.
Two "OLD" people, a 2010 Honda 1800, a 2015 Aspen Classic W/AC and electric brakes. Living life while we can still remember it. Plus we are trying to keep up with Dusty Boots but legends are hard to catch.

    Re: Lithia Springs

I just punched up Lithia Springs CG and it had a notice of on-going work:

Attention: Lithia Springs Campground will be undergoing major renovations to improve campsites and increase available amenities. In order to prevent further complications, no reservations will be accepted for Lithia Springs for the 2017 recreation season. Additionally, Lithia Springs may experience a delayed opening, but will open on a walk-in, first-come first-served basis once construction is completed. Although not all sites will be undergoing construction, they will remain closed until completion as the infrastructure of the entire campground will be affected.

In order to accommodate our visitors, Opossum Creek Campground will open early for the season on April 20, 2017. Please continue to check back for status updates as construction progresses.
