We have another planned camping trip for August in northern Vermont..have a wedding to attend and thought we would make a nice trip out of it. Was in VT last year and really had a great time there!

We camp up in New England a couple times a year. Have relation up in Springfield, VT. IBMC has four camp-outs up there this year...

    Re: Susquehanna State Park

Just a follow up on the Susquehanna State Park campground. Campground has two camping areas, total of about 90 sites in total and some cabins. Very clean restrooms. For each site there is a fire ring, table and a pole for hanging a light. Nice part was that when a camper leaves, the staff comes in and actually sweep out the fire pit. Each fire pit/ring was a built on a setting of fire bricks. Great hiking trails! Also...those of us that are senior's, we can get a lifetime "Golden Age Pass" from the state of MD that has some nice features...attached is a link to the page:

    Re: Susquehanna State Park

From the pictures it look like the trees down that way are a month a head of us up here in Northern PA. Most of the trees here don't have leaves yet. Called for snow here a couple days but we didn't get it but it's been in the upper 20's at night. What kind of motorcycle is that in the first picture, can only see the back of it...

Yes, the trees were totally green there, was chilly at night and woke to lower 40's each morning. As for the type of motorcycle...it's a Ford model. Actually, in my first post I indicated I wasn't taking the bike this time around, due to taking our four legged friend with us (she doesn't enjoy riding that much). I could have taken the bike myself and let the wife drive the car with the dog, but then that would be a waste of gas. There are times that you just have to deal with four wheels and a cage! Next time I will have to crop the pictures better!
