    Gila Hot Springs Campground

This is a private campground in the Gila Wilderness / National Forest on NM 15. About 35 miles north of Silver City and 6 miles south the Gila Cliff Dwellings National Monument. The campground has water and vault toilets. Campsites are along the Gila River, sandy and shaded. Cost is $6 a night. You can shower and get small items at the Lodge and store (different campgrond - Gila Hot Springs Resort). Nicest amenity is after a long day on the bike or hiking the cliff dwellings you can relax as long as you want in one of the sweet (no sulphur) hot springs. GPS 33.19518 N 108.20931 W

    Thanks for the review!
Looks like a great alternative to the 2 small Forest Service campgrounds closer to the Cliff Dwellings!
