    5 Days in Almost Heaven

    Hi guys,
I thought I would post a link to a ride report I did on ADVRider.com
This was a trip my dad and I did back in 2014. When you live in flat Ohio, WV is pure fun.
I'm sure everyone here knows WV is a great state to ride in.
    Hope you like it.
    Thanks

    Great write up and pics.
    Yes WVA is great.
I spent a couple days riding through in November 2011as I headed south from extended summer in NH. It was in the 35 +/- temps, cloudy and spitting rain but still fun. Had to watch for cinders in the corners.
I stopped at Cass RR for a look around and got to warm up by the coal stoves and talk with the workers in the shop, 3 were riders.
Had an inch of snow in the morning.
I'll be going back through again. My first time through was around 1978.

Yes, West Virginia is lots of fun. Taking Rt 16 thru the entire state is one that I have done many times. Getting thru Beckley is rough but after that is is all nice 2 lane roads. The southern portion of RT 16 is the best. Continue into Virginia and ride "The Back of the Dragon" from Marion to Tazwell. If you are camping stay at Hungry Mother State Park.

Great ride report and awesome pics! I always tried to get my Dad to ride, but he never would after wrecking on one of my dirt bikes.

WV is a great place to ride and camp. It is a good weekend or just overnight ride for us since we live right on the border. Great pictures thanks for sharing.
