    Solar eclipse camping

Going to be a total eclipse Aug 21 along this path.

Sweetwater, TN will be at a point with longest duration of total eclipse, here is a article from Knoxville TV channel.

Sweetwater is about 30 min from Hunts in Tellico Plains where the Chillout is held.

We might have to make a trip back to Hunts or maybe Indian Boundary for some eclipse camping.

I see the IBMC is hosting a camp-out for it. Total Eclipse of the Sun, “It’s happening in Tennessee” - 8/20/2017-8/22/2017. Anyone interested, I can post it here for non members of IBMC.

We'll be at Tumulo State Park, near Bend, OR. It's in the center of Oregon in the high desert so the weather should be very clear for it.

Will be in Hopkinsville, Ky for the event...wouldn't believe how that small community is already planning for the tourist invasion that will take place there...My sister lives there, so, I WILL have a seat. Now, watch it be raining all day. A little community of about 25000 will explode to an anticipated 300-500,000 tourists....Unbelievable population swell for a 2minutes & 45 seconds event...but, we'll be there.

Booked LBL for the event. I'm a former Earth science teacher and general science geek so I don't want to miss this. Told my friends and family who will be joining me that I'm watching the weather and will move for the event in case of thick cloud cover.

We got into a meetup group that has a 100 person group site at Colter Bay Campground in the Grand Tetons. We should have a great show from there.
