OK, sounds like enough sites have been reserved and all I need to do is show up.

I have one site and will be there on Wednesday. Last year there were 4 campers and two tents on this one. Jeff's coming in on Thursday and he has the adjacent site. I think that site will also handle 6 set ups. Last year we had a third elec site which had 3 or 4 on it.
If our two are filled, there's plenty of elec and non-elec sites available. As Jeff mentioned, it's not expected to be crowded. Bad thing about getting an electric site by yourself is paying the extra charge for elec hookup. If you get in with others it becomes way less $ when you share the cost.

Pretty much first come first serve on sharing mine or Jeff's site.

Sounds like a plan. I'll arrive sometime on Friday and see how it goes.

The Missouri Campfire is just a few weeks away. Don't forget that Randy and I will fix breakfast
on Saturday morning. Can't wait to see some old friends again. Perhaps a float trip is in order.
At the very least some relaxation in the river next to our campsite. Come join us!!!

I just learned that the campground we are staying at (Bass Resort) is having a 2 day Bluegrass
Music Festival in another area of the campground at the same time as our event. For those
interested I've included a link to the Face Book that lists more information. A Reservation
phone number is listed on their FB page.

Ok I did it I sold my trike. I was thinking at 111K miles how much more could I ride it and still get a fair price for it.
So I did it and sold it with my 55 chevy Trailer. I am looking for a replacement. I plan on coming to the campout,
even in my truck. Can they put a hitch on a Smart Car Convert.? lol

See what I can find. Wife said finish your cabin first. That does sound like good advise.

But I have turned right, when I should have turned left before. lol lol

Well ... You can still do some camping regardless if you have a bike or not ... Take that crazy Canuk Linda for instance, she doesn't have a bike now but is still in love with the outdoors and camping ...
Do what you gotta do, I say ...

I've done so much with so little for so long ... Now I can do nearly anything with almost nothing.

Re: 3rd Annual Missouri Campfire 20-24 September 2017

Well tomorrow's the 1st of September so the campfire's just around the corner. Mike, hopefully you get everything worked out and you can get your Butt..set out here, one way or another.

As Jeff said, breakfast will be ready for ya'll on Saturday. And I would like to remind you of the chili free for all Friday night. Just bring a can of your favorite which will be thrown together. I'll furnish some cheese and crackers to go along with it; anything else for sure can be had before the time comes.

Can't say for certain if we'll have another opportunity to do a float, it's mainly up to mother nature; but the bottom line is we don't need to worry about making float reservations until we're there and a decision is made..... For certain, you need to bring a chair and be prepared to lounge in the creek.

Friday and Saturday the resort is having a Bluegrass festival down near the float take out area (Loud Area of the campsite). They don't expect a huge crowd and it should not impact us at all. Probably be able to hear it off in the distance during the evening, and the majority of the campers associated with the event should be a good ways from us.

For anyone new to the event, grocery store, gas, dollar general is all in Steelville. Walmart is just off the Cuba exit off Interstate 44.

    Hope to see you there.

Got a text message from Deb & Rob who attended Northwoods this year. They will be joining us.
They've had trouble getting onto this site to RSVP. Also got a texted "Maybe" from Meach.
It's going to be another nice turn-out.
