I guess you are saying that yours didn't come with such a piece?
Interesting... I have seen the pot adapter on other sites, some which do and some which do not show the plate.
This is the piece I am referring to:

At $12.99 mine came with this plate.
I assume that it is standard now and would also be included at $9.99 (since it's the same part number).

I ordered mine a year and half ago. Something new U would imagine.

I'll email them and ask. Customer service was pretty good when my first stove showed up with loose parts.

Emailed customer service, they won't sell the flame spreader (tamer as they call it) separate. If anyone wouldn't mind could you take a picture of yours with a unit of measurement alongside. I'll just make one. Stainless or aluminium?

I was about 80% convinced I was going to ask Mrs Santa for this for my birthday/Christmas present (those of you born in December know exactly what I mean by that). Now I'm 100%. Letter to Mrs Santa written and sent (in the form of a text message with a link)

Went for a camping trip this last Friday... found out at the last minute that there were total fire restrictions in place... no Wood, no Charcoal... had to do everything on the Propane Stove.

Who would have thought Boiled Sausages would be so good?

Re: Camp Chef Stryker Propane Stove...

Had a chance to use this stove on a recent 6 week trip.
I liked how it fit together compact in it's pot, it fuel efficiency and readily available fuel bottle.

What I didn't like was the space between the burner head, the pot/frying pan adapter ring and either a pot, or a frying pan. (large gap made it prone to wind)
It sure didn't take to using my little toaster that Gary-Gene gave me when I toasted up my mini bagels! It melted the plastic base around the burner basically rendering the stove useless as it wouldn't fit back into the pot it stores in!!
I ended up tossing the stove and buying a cheap one of similar style from Wally World and gave the rest of it to Dennis at the North Cascades Camp out as he has one as well. Thought he could use a spare pot/stand and flame tamer.
