    Coon Creek (Corps of Engineers)

Coon Creek is a Federal campground just south of Findlay Illinois on the banks of Lake Shelbyville.
About 200 campspots not too far from a restroom for any site (flush toilets )
The showers are pretty nice but a little farther away. Regular price is $18. (50% off with America the Beautiful card) some sites are not too level but .mostly good .There are probably 1000 campsites within 20 miles of here .This is probably the biggest camping area in illinois. If you come to Cooc Creek buy supplies at the last sizable town there is very little here for 30 miles. Pretty area no hills almost no curves. Mostly shaded sites.
