Never mind. After I posted I scrolled up to see it's listed under Nebraska.
The page I have saved to open up to on my phone shows all the new posts of the day but doesn't show the sub forum section it's posted under.

Back in '73 (possibly '74) I and another fellow rode into Grand Island late in the evening. The sun had set and there was something surreal about the town. Every car-hop place was, well, hopping. Main street was all lit up and I swear the feeling was like the main drag in the movie American Graffiti. After all this time I still remember it. We didn't stop, because we were riding at night to beat the heat, and just rode on through. Had we stopped, I might still be there. I might mention that I have never seen so much corn in my life.
