    Let your tire warm up in the sun for a good hour before installation and apply lots of paste/lube to the bead and the rim's recess area

    You should also apply lubricant to the face of the rim and as you are installing the tire, make sure the opposite end of the tire is positioned in the drop-center area of the rim and not riding up on the beat seat area. There is a bit of technique involved.
