Joe, I lost my Dad in 1984. Even though that was 24 years ago I miss him as much today as on that first day he went home to the Lord. The pain will grow less and the good thing is that you will always, always remember the good times. In the years to come you will say or do something and you will realize that you are hearing an echo from the past when your Dad taught you something that is now an ingrained part of your life and you will stop and whisper, "Thanks Dad":fire1:

It has only been a couple of years for me, but Gene, you absolutely right. My dad taught me so many good things that I use all the time. It was also my love of Motorcycles that came from him by way of his dad, in the 66 Honda Dream that I now have.

Joe, we are all here for you, as it is you that has brought us all together here.

Sorry to hear about your dad. My dad died in 1984 and he was always taking me and my brother camping, whether it was a fishing or hunting trip. We will always have the memories of good times spent with our fathers.
