OK, so I couldn't make it to Lake Tawakoni so I figured I'd break down my Jed Clampett style camping load bag by bag so you more enlightened motocampers can flame my technique and teach me a better way to do this. :D

Here's the load for my Helen 2wheels medium rolltop bag. It's the smallest bag in my load.

Link: http://helen2wheels.com/products/sacks_rolltop.html

1. The packed bag
2. The contents laid out
3. What's stored in the green bag
4. What's stored in the black bag
5. The brush and rake (bet that was a surprise)

Here's that ridiculously large tent full of wasteful space...

1. Footprint laid out (wallymart tarp)
2. Tent gear unpacked (note sack of 40 pegs and that peg hammer thing, I think Joe calls it a mallet but remember this is Jed Clampett style camping and it's important to have every kind of peg on the market with you)
3. Too much footprint, I fold this excess underneath the tent in a feeble attempt to prevent water buildup under floor.
4. Almost ready for habitation, I love having enough space to setup my Kermit chair inside the tent. (Stearns self-inflatable sleep pad)
5. Home sweet home. (North Face 30+ Cats Meow bag, Ozark Trail fleece bag)
6. Reading Room
7. No solicitors allowed, please ring doorbell

This link is about as close as you'll get to a tent like mine:

After seeing those pictures, I will be getting a 4 man tent for sure. Looks like a good place to be if it's pouring rain outside.

Here we go packing it all back up to ride.

Put both bags on the scales and they measure +/- 40lbs together.

1. Tent folded inside footprint
2. Tent & footprint rolled for packing (Helen 2Wheels large tent bag)
3. Tent & footprint rolled and cinched with bungee cord
4. Tent and chair/cot bag packed and ready
5. Tent bag length ( maybe this is why I can't see out the ST's mirrors)

I got the rake at Lowe's or Home Depot a couple years ago. All I did was shorten the handle. Sure makes quick work of clearing a tent pad.
