We made the evening news!

Just had to toot my own horn here.

Last Friday morning me and my friend Mark, Beemers packed, headed out to Death Valley for the 3rd. annual Death Valley Daze (DVD). Weather was terrible but we knew that once we got over the Cajon Pass weather would get better. It was about 50 miles of rain then snow all the way to the summit where we stopped at the Summit Cafe for breakfast. As we pulled in we were confronted by a Channel 2 news van. They said they would love to talk with us when we were though with breakfast. Our interview with Melisa Mccarty was short, we're towards the end of the clip and sort of made us out to be a couple of crazies on motorcycles (:D ain't it GREAT! :D ), and we did make the news.

I think you did sort of bust their bubble, they are out there pumping up how bad and dangerous it is and you guys come along on bikes

Way to go guys. There is never any newscasters around when I dig my path in the snow on my street to get to the salted ones when I leave on a trip from Ohio!!!! It's the norm up here. At least you got the chance to enlighten a few folks about motorcycle travel in inclement weather.
