I like it, but I only have 36 miles on it and of course that is just the distance from the shop to my house. The day after I brought it home, a guy on ADV put an '07 GSA up for $16,900. I could have screamed. It was low mileage and had hard bags and a lot of factory stuff, but I was committed to the KLR by then cause I had a bunch of frakles on the way before I bought the bike. Still am waiting for stuff. It is hard to make out all the stuff I've already put on it in the picture, but there are engine guards, skid plate, Maier hand guards, GPS, CB radio, I'm going to put the antenna on the top box or left side bag when they get here, Tourances are on the way, windshield on the way, and Scott chain oiler on the way. Oh and the seat is on the way to Spencer for rework. If it weren't for the seat and hard bags, I would have ridden it to the seminar next weekend. I tried to strap my two bags on the rack and back seat, but that wasn't hapenin'!!! The twins would have been on the gas cap.

I like the color.

They had all three colors, so I had a choice. The green was out, I don't want to step on any toes, but it didn't appeal to me. The blue was nice, but red stands out more, so I opted for the red. And thanks. The bags and top box are going to be black. I can only see a very little red when in the saddle.

Woowee! It looks like it was a muddy, slick mess! I'm glad you had fun though. :bike1:
Which model MSR tent is that? It looks good. I'm looking for a new one-person tent for travelling on the XC.

So how bad does this look. Man I need to work on my sand riding. Look like the inside line was the way to go.

Fun video.
In my limited dirt experience one thing I did learn is to do like the 2nd rider and get your butt off the seat when the terrain gets rough. The bike can bounce around under you and it's much easier to maintain your balance. Loose sand in a turn like that without full knobbies can be really slippery, looks like you did fine but it sure didn't feel like it I bet.
OK...I'm getting the bug for a KLR.

That bike wasn't dropped, he's just making sure the spark plugs have been properly lubricated.
