Myrtle Beach Bike Week info?

Anyone going to Myrtle Beach this spring (May)? I am going to ride down from Western KY mainly taking two lane road when we can, and will probably just slab it home. Are there any "Must Ride" scenic roads in the area that we need to know about. This will be my first time to that part of South Carolina. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

That's my old stomping ground, I grew up in Georgetown. If you want to do any riding, you'll need to get away from the MB area because it's all urbanized. I'd head up the coast north to Kittie Hawk and Cape Hatteras. It's a pretty drive and you can get there and back in a day. Hope you like huge crowds.

Sounds kind of like Daytona during Bike Week. We normally go to Daytona in October because the crowds are so much smaller and the weather is nicer. We were mainly looking for an alternative trip with good weather and a little more scenic ride down. Thanks for the info on Kittie Hawk and Cape Hatteras, we usually like to take a couple of good all day trips when we go to rallies and these sound like nice ones.
