I don't know one knot from the next. So, when I saw this game at
campmor.com I thought I'd get it.

It should be pretty entertaining and frustrating when you get tired of throwing
things into the fire.

Here's the link (http://www.campmor.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?productId=39165588)

I totally need that! I'm horrible at tying knots and have always been jealous of guys who know how to tie these fancy knots. I think I only know how to tie two different knots and neither of them are good for anything but my shoes.

Ha!!!.. same here and they keep coming untied anyway... I know several types of knots... a single knot, double, triple, quadruple okay.. maybe that's just one but it makes me feel good about myself..

I went through some of the cards last night and there are some pretty cool knots there. The cards not only show a diagram of the knot but it's uses. Lifting a pole vertically, securing two ends of a two ropes to make one, etc..

For me, this will be more of a quick reference guide than a game.

If it doesn't untie easy, use a rope wrench and problem solved.

Threads only 11 months old. They don't go bad till they hit a year. Right?

Here is a site for the knot challenged among us. Work on the truckers hitch. I have used it for years and is one of the most helpful knots you could ever master. Tie a load with one of them and you can squeeze it so tight it will pop. You have to be careful you can break poles etc. if you cinch it to much. You can extricate bikes stuck in mud holes with it.

I use the truckers hitch to tie down all my gear to the bike. You're right about it's strength; it always makes my load totally secure and it's easily untied.

I have used it for years to tie loads of lumber, ladders, pipe etc on my trucks. It works a lot of places a ratchet strap won't. I also use it to secure my bike to a trailer. I use four, one on each corner and suck it down till the shocks are somewhat compressed. It won't release like a ratchet strap will if the shock compresses.
