Well.........since im not working and have nothing to do i'll go first. Oh, and thanks Joe for giving me something to do, I really needed it. Plus Im off for 5 day's of camping over New Years and it gives me a chance to make sure everything is there.

First of all my bike is settup for 1-up camping. My bike is a 2004 BMW R1150GS Adventurer. I added a set of Jesse Luggage Odyssey Bags which hold 108 liters of gear. The top box is also Jesse and holds another 45 liters giving me a total of a 153 liters of lockable storage. For and idea of how much more I can carry over my last bike which was an ST1100, it had only 70 liters between the two stock bags. I added the Jesse Lid Racks and Mike (The Rackman) Roberts made mr my rear rack for even more space. To help with the load I had a set of Ohlin's shock made and settup for me and the bike.

Yep, looks like a lot. And I do bring extras of somethings along because I have friends who have actually forgot things like sleeping bags (your on your own there), cups, gloves, stocking caps ect. I like to be comfortable and at times have actually used just about everything in this picture.

Everything back in its bag and stacked up with the addition of my cooler. Seems I also forgot to include spare clothing in the picture.

Blue Eagles Creek bag on top holds my change of cloths.

Everything packed on the bike and ready to go including my Kermit chair and 2 days of food which isn't pictured but is there. At the rear of the bike is my sleeping bag and mattress, tent, and down jacket on top. Bag on top of side box is my parka & wind pants. Box on otherside has my Kermit chair.

And here it is all settup.

Yep, I don't like having to look for anything. Certain bags hold things that are related to whats in the rest of that bag. And that paticular bag always goes in the same side of the bike. Always packs the same making things easier to find for a fast easy settup and packing while breaking camp. When I get home I have two boxes for unloading everything into. Except for cloths and left over food its usually ready to put back in the bike for the next trip.

I can really appreciate your packing style. Very well thought out and organized. Makes me re-think how I do things to see if I can do a better job. Thanks!

Blues Traveler,

Great write up, thanks. In the pic with your gear, could you let us know what everything is? Most I could identify but not all. I want to know what I'm forgetting. Also what tent are you using?
Thanks Keith
